Let's gist

Let me give you the gist of this story I'm sharing next.

So, I wrote a short story yeah! I was getting ready for church that morning, in between making toast for breakfast and getting dressed, an idea popped into my head out of the blue. I quickly opened my laptop and started typing furiously, ko to salọ́ (before I forget it. Melo melo). I have lazy fingers, so I hate writing; especially with a pen (totally unavoidable, but even though 😌)

So back to my laptop, the plan was to highlight the sequence of the storyline; which is my best method. Guess what, I was able to complete it by the time I dusted my hands into an empty plate where 3 slices of dry toast laid earlier. I left for church with an almost complete story, and I was in awe. How did I pull that off in less than an hour? 007, baby...purr!

By evening, I resumed and that was when I decided it was going to be a short story; I'm not developing it into chapters. One way or the other, during my online philandering, I found Amazon KDP. The idea was compelling, so I started reading their guidelines, terms & conditions, FAQs and said f*** it, I'm publishing an e-book.

I decided to test the waters with this short story.

Children of God, after many trial-and-error during upload; I must have published and unpublished up to 20 times before finally publishing it. I discovered Amazon KDP is not available in Nigeria. Self publishing inna d mud!!

Lmao! It has tán! We will not do asedanu o! 🙏 So many people wanted to support immediately, "how do I buy it", "how do I pay", left and right, but...😔 lowo lowo as I'm talking, it's only the people I know in UK that have bought that book. Amazon tell me that pé they are 'promoting it'😒 'Renewing Promotions' they say...dey play! 😏🙄
